About JROC
JROC is an orienteering club in
southeastern Virginia. JROC promotes orienteering and all navigation sports from
Richmond to Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. JROC does this through education and
recreational programs.
Orienteering is the sport of navigation, using a map and compass to
navigate to checkpoints marked on your map. Traveling through the woods, on and off trail
to find your way. Whether out for a leisurely hike or a competitive run, there's a
challenge for you in orienteering.

JROC is no longer an active orienteering club. If yo're interested in orietneering or
other navigation sports (adventure racing, trail running, etc.) Then join the JROC Yahoo!
Group where regional informatin about these events are shared and ... maybe JROC will rise
again in 2010.
